Pitaya fruit is also called Dragon fruit which is much better to call it but what do we get from eating a dragon fruit?. Well actually most fruits are the best source of vitamins and minerals especially Vitamin C in general which keeps our immune system strong and deflects many kinds of communicable diseases such as common colds or flu. It has also anti oxidants which cleans bad toxins from our body that could lead to many kinds of diseases. These bad toxins in our body comes from the unhealthy food that we eat everyday and if we do not consume these kinds of fruit that has an anti oxidants we could get sick in the future for some example we could get cancer since artificial foods today could cause these cancer cells to grow further.
The dragon fruit also is recommended for diabetic patients mainly because if you have noticed the taste of the dragon fruit it is not that sweet or some tastes it as a very bland fruit, unlike melon is sweeter a bit and kiwi has more citrus taste. This is a good source of vitamins and minerals for diabetic patients because it contains less sugar. This Dragon fruit also has wonderful benefits people who have a high blood pressure which is proven by many that consuming regular dragon fruit everyday could decrease the blood pressure which should also accompanied by self discipline by not eating too much fatty foods and salty ones.
Overall, eating a dragon fruit has many benefits and as I have mentioned above this fruit is good for everyone specially people who suffer from diabetes and have to avoid too much sugar in their diet.
